My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

* * * COURTESY POST * * *
Simba is a very sweet 1.5-year-old and 69-pound Pit Bull that was left at one of our partner kennels by his owners. They never came back for him, and they ended up legally surrendering Simba over to us. The staff fell in love with Simba during his stay at the kennel.
He’s now in a foster home and thriving. Simba gets along with the resident dogs and he passed the cat test with flying colors. He has a healthy amount of energy that isn’t overwhelming. He isn’t mouthy, and his foster family is teaching him not to jump on them when he gets excited. He’s content with chomping on different types of toys and has no problem sharing them with the other dogs. He hasn’t had any accidents in the house; he will stand by the door as an indicator that he needs to go potty. He is crate-trained. Simba also enjoys getting attention and affection from people. He has no history with children but should be fine with kids 12 and up. Email info@ILDobeRescue.com
