for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Cashew's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Cashew's Story...
My name is Cashew and I am a tripod. Being a tripod makes me look a little unusual but I fully enjoy life. I was in quite a bit of pain so the vet decided to improve the quality of my life by amputating my front leg. I feel 100 times better!!!! I am about 11 months old and recently started an obedience class. I go with my foster Mom to work every week and I love all the attention I get at Petsmart. I am housebroken and good with other dogs, but I can be boisterous! My foster Mom is thinking of doing agility with me as she says I have springs in my legs. I love going for walks and being out and about. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application at www.aandsrescue.com and fill out an application. Upon receipt, a volunteer will contact you. Thank you for your interest!
Cashew will only be placed into a forever home that is located within 1.5 hours of Lake & McHenry Counties in Illinois...(sorry, NO exceptions).**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cashew, a Cary American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Cary, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Cary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cary paves the way for another one to be saved.
