My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi all, my name is Jasmine. I am a very adorable 3 yr old, 17 pound mixed breed dog who was rescued as a stray in Taiwan. When I first came to Canada I was very scared and just wanted to stay in my crate. But it didn’t take me long to get over my fears of my new foster home and now I am enjoying engaging my foster mom in play and hanging out on the couch with her. She says I am an absolute doll. I am super gentle and don’t have an aggressive bone in my body. I have probably been kicked during my time as a stray and have a sensitive area around my ribs on my left side. But even when my foster mom mistakenly touches me there, I just gently push her hand away with her nose. My foster mom doesn’t think I even know how to bite. I am great with other dogs and would do well in a home with another dog as they help me feel comfortable and relaxed. I also very much like people of any age and am very good with kids. I LOVE being touched and scratched all around my head. I think it is impolite to lick your face but I love getting kisses myself and will take as many as you have to give. I am not yet interested in toys but my foster mom thinks I will get there. I am still a bit fearful outside on walks. The cars and loud noises make me nervous. But I am getting better and better every day. I am trying very hard to be the best dog I can. I walk very politely on a leash right by your side and never pull. Because of my nervousness outside, it will be awhile before I will be safe offleash. ‎Every day I am a little more confident and playful. My foster mom had a clothing drive at her house and even with two big dogs and 16 girls running around the apartment, I was fine and wagging my tail. I am super quiet and never bark, not even at knocks at the door. I would make a wonderful and loving companion to any home. I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $450
