My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BLACK BEAR is a 2 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 70 pounds. Black Bear: 1. likes to play, 2. likes get attention and 3. likes to be with you. He retrieves and is good at it. Enjoys play time but is very willing to stay by your side. Black bear is a prize and who ever adopts her will be getting a great dog. Good with other dogs, was in a yard with several other Lab Rescue pups. Knows sit and come, he is a young dog and will have a training addendum. Pretty good on lead better with an Easy Walk Harness. Crate trained may be house trained as he is keeping his room clean at the kennel. From our evaluator: He is a large happy fellow who was found wandering in the county visiting all the houses seeing if he could find someone to keep him. Bear is very friendly and likes other dogs. He is approved for kids 12+.

Update (9/03): Black Bear has completed his heartworm treatment and rest period. He's a happy boy with a lot of energy looking for a family who will give him the amount of exercise a lab his size needs. He walks well on the leash with an Easy Walk harness. Black Bear can be mouthy, and he likes to carry a toy around.

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has between 50 ~ 80 dogs available for adoption.
