My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Homer is a handsome white German Shepherd. We believe he's an older adult, probably at least 7. Don't let his age worry you, though -- one of the great secrets of this breed is that the best years of owning a GSD start around 7! This is the age where you get all the love and loyalty in a calm, wise dog. Puppy mischief is a distant memory, and this dog is ready to enjoy the good life, curled up near his favorite person. Homer is very good with the other dogs in his foster home. He's slowly coming out of his shell, and learning to trust people. He's been a gentle giant -- no matter how scared or uncertain he is, he's never shown an ounce of ill will toward anybody. He just wants someone to be his friend and let him know he's safe. Homer would be a wonderful companion in a quiet home that cherishes calm energy. A completed adoption application, with vet and personal references, and a home check are required to adopt Homer.
