Berlin is a Havanese/Long Haired Dachshund puppy only 5 months old. He has a low/non-shedding reddish caramel colored coat that is soft, wavy and highlighted with dark brown. He is a darling young pup. Berlin currently weighs 6 pounds and should reach an adult weight of 12-16 pounds. He is a sturdy, round ball of furry fun. Berlin is an independent, quick learner. He loves to play with toys or with other dogs and is always the life of the party. He is everyone's friend, excellent with other dogs and with kids. Berlin is also a cuddler and will readily climb into a lap, plop down and snuggle away or take a short nap. He is super affectionate and sweet natured. From day one, baby Berlin has been our miracle pup. He was rescued from a very high volume/high kill shelter after being hit by a car and terribly injured. He could not walk and had multiple broken bones. Despite this, Berlin showed us he is a survivor with an amazing "can-do" attitude and will to live. Throughout his ordeal, he never once complained and always seemed upbeat and happy. Berlin has made an amazing recovery and is a healthy puppy today. Unfortunately, we were not able to save his back leg and so he is now officially a "tri-paw" three legged boy. Berlin has no idea he is handicapped and races around and plays normally. His little bright button eyes and cheery attitude are a testament to the ability of the spirit to heal the body. Berlin is a ray of sunshine, no doubt about it and a very special puppy. Berlin is potty trained and excellent inside the home. He is learning how to walk on leash and rides nicely in the car. Berlin is looking forward to his new forever home with a family who will give him unconditional love, kindness, and lots of happy times. He is guaranteed to return the favor and be the love of your life!
Berlin’ adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, Up-to-date on VACCINATIONS, DEWORMED and DEFLEAED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Berlin is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Phyllis and Richard and is ready for his forever home.
You may meet and apply to adopt Berlin at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, MAY 9th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE located at 15333 Culver Dr., Irvine, CA 92604. (Our event is held INSIDE of the PETCO store.) adoptpetmatch@gmail.com
