Tula's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Tula's Story...
Tula was found when we were doing community outreach to get resident's pets spayed/neutered. She had 3 puppies under someone's house. They all went on to find homes, and now it is momma Tula's turn! She is a wonderful little girl with lots of love to share. Her favorite pastime is sitting in someone's lap. She is eager to please and a quiet , calm little lady. We think that she is mostly chihuahua with a bit of terrier thrown in. She gets along with other dogs and loves to play. For more information about adopting Tula, please fill out an adoption application at forgottendogs.org/adoption_application or email her foster mom at kellek-9@peoplepc.com - be sure to mention Tula. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tula, a Houston Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
