Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thanks for checking out my profile! I know I may look like a tough guy but truthfully I sometimes get spooked by my own shadow. I have been through a lot in life, so far – having been turned away by 2 families, and ending up at a high kill shelter where my current family picked me up. I overheard them say at the shelter that I was picked up just in time, all I know is I have never been happier to get out of there and feel the wind on my face during my car ride home.
Anyway, a little about myself … I am the kind of dog who will keep up with you on all your walks & adventures. I also love going to the park, swimming, eating, herding things that don’t need herding & playing with other dogs (that are smaller than I am). My absolute favorite thing to do is steal my foster sibling’s dog beds, they might not appreciate it but for some reason they are so much more comfortable than my own!
I would love to find a new home soon because my foster brother is recovering from an injury and needs peace & quiet. I’m pretty sure he is jealous of my size & good looks because he constantly tries to pick fights with me and this is not good for his recovery. I'm a big goof with a lot of enthusiasm, so I need to join a family with adults or older children. My ideal companion would be a dog that is smaller than I am & that doesn’t wish to fight with me. I also LOVE to get all the attention so if I was an only dog – that would be okay too.
I know I was rescued for a reason & I would be SO lucky & grateful to the family who gives me a forever home! If you would like to meet me as much as I would like to meet you, please call or text my foster mom Heather at 857-891-6937.
