Niko-Adopted!'s Story...
Niko is an awesome dog! He's so happy and loving. He is a high energy dog that would benefit from a home with a fenced in yard and someone who takes him for lots of walks. He's very sweet and affectionate and just wants to be a lap dog. Niko is a smart boy who is easily trainable. He has tested well with both male and female dogs, but has not met any cats. Niko is house and crate trained, and he walks very well on a leash.

Niko is in need of an immediate foster home. Please call or text (313)645-4399 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Niko-Adopted!, a Detroit American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
