Riddick's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Riddick's Story...
Riddick is just an 8 month old boy who was at a dog pound. The warden called us for help b/c his skin was awful looking. He has demodex (non contagious) mange that he is now being treated for. With treatment his fur will look great very soon.

He is already 50 lbs and such a lover. An active family with another dog to play with would be perfect for this. Adopters must be willing to do obedience training with a FIDO approved trainer. Due to breed mixture, adopters must be homeowners and we will not adopt out puppies to home with toddlers.
UPDATE 5/19: This boy is thriving in doggie daycare. He has learned good play manners with other dogs and is very well behaved overall. He keeps his crate clean and is happy to get and give affection to anyone he meets.
Adoption fee 150.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riddick, a Avon American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Avon, or seeking a American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Avon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Avon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Avon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Avon paves the way for another one to be saved.
