My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HALLIE is one of the prettiest girls we have seen in a long time! As of 5/6/16 HALLIE is 9-10 months old and about 45 lbs. She loves loves loves other dogs! She is also great with the cat and the children in her foster home. She picked up on potty training almost instantly. She is very quiet in her crate (though she needs a little nudge to go inside initially). She is excellent in the car and on leash as well. Her foster mom takes her for daily walks because she doesn't have a fenced in yard. HALLIE thrives and is most confident in the presence of other dogs. Because of this, we want her to go to a home where she will have a fur sibling. An exception could be made if her future family is committed to doggy day care multiple days a week. She has been with all types of dogs from old cranky shih tzus and playful labs. She interacts perfectly with all. Because of her fun but sweet personality she will fit with almost any doggy family. HALLIE's lucky forever family love her as much as we do; it's impossible not to.

HALLIE is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
