We proudly introduce mama Pearl and adorable Paddy. They were brought into the San Jose Shelter as strays and no one was missing this charming pug pair. We had an opportunity to visit them often while they waited out their stray hold. They were so happy to receive visitors and rolled over on their backs for belly rubs and happily gave out kisses. It was very obvious they had not had an bath or a nail trim their entire lives. When their freedom day came, Eileen & Sally were ready to take them for long hot baths and grooming. Pearl and Paddy were bouncing with joy feeling and smelling so much better! Since that time, the pair have been in the loving arms of foster care. Pearl has seen our veterinary opthamologist and had a minor surgery to remove pressure on one of her eyes. Unfortunately, she does not see with her eyes but with her heart. Paddy is a hearty little guy, very bonded to his mama Pearl. They are both very easy going and our hearts are warm knowing they will never have to be out the human touch ever again. We think they would be a great for a family that work a little longer out of the home, as they have each other. Pearl is elderly and needs no medical care, just comfort. We would love to find this pair a home together, where they will be loved forever and ever.
