Hello! My name is Abaleen. I am a two-year old Cocker Spaniel/Hound mix with a white coat and brown markings. When my foster mom came to the shelter to take me home I was very nervous. After a few days in my foster home with lots of hardwork and TLC, I broke out of my shell. I am now fully potty trained and quickly learned my manners like staying off of furniture and not jumping on my foster family. I enjoy the company of other dogs, cats and children. I recently learned that I am heartworm negative which is great because this will find me a forever home faster and I will not have to endure the treatment. I am currently working with my foster mom on learning how to sit for my treats and keeping calm in my kennel. I enjoy running around outside with the other dogs and getting some sun but I love cuddling up on my blanket and always being by my foster families side even more. I enjoy the simple things in life like lounging around the house and taking walks on my leash down the road. I would do great in any home, but I would benefit greatly from an environment that is very calm and with owners who like to do a lot of relaxing. At first I may be a little shy and timid in my new environment, but if given a little time to adjust I will be the perfect fit for your home.
