Ryder's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ryder's Story...
Ryder survived one of New York City's coldest winters outside. Thankfully he has since been rescued and is looking for a good home where he can shower you with his endless love. Ryder is one of the most affectionate cats you will meet. He wants to constantly be rubbing against you, laying against you, or kneading next to you while purring and gazing into your eyes. Ryder hasn't forgotten where he came from and he will thank you for your love every day. Ryder does need to take medicine for a heart condition, which is ironic since he has one of the BEST hearts of any cat we've ever met. Don't pass up on Ryder just because he has a heart problem. You will never regret bringing this sweet boy into your life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ryder, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
