Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yes honey, there IS a mini Shepherd!! Penny is an adorably sweet Shepherd mix. The family that gave her up says her mom was Brittany Spaniel but we can't seem to find that anywhere. She was surrendered by her owner because they were having a new baby. We can't imagine giving this sweet girl up at all. She wants very much to have "her" person. She is very loving and protective of her people. She is shy around new folks (particularly men), but her foster mom is working on getting her more confident with new people and situations. She does wonderfully with other dogs and fits right into a pack. She is very athletic and given her desire to bond, would make a great agility candidate. She also is a wonderful snuggler! No cats please, Penny thinks they are very fun to chase. She is a year old and weighs about 35 lbs. but needs to gain some weight. Penny looks like a mini-Shepherd if there were such a thing, she is adorable! If you are looking for luck in finding the right dog, this shiny new Penny is the girl for you! Full vetting and transport up north included in her $425 adoption fee.
