Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Summer is a fantastic girl of just over a year that we rescued from MCACC West in April. She was dumped there by a family that had adopted her from that very shelter the prior year, and was in deplorable condition due to EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), which they had declined to treat. Summer was nothing but skin and bones due to that. With good food and enzymes this is a treatable condition, and Summer has been thriving. She is an absolute BLAST of a dog, with a stellar personality. Summer enjoys the company of other dogs, loves people, and LOVES the ball. She will fetch, and knows commands. Summer will need to remain on good food and her enzymes for life, but this is not very costly, and also no trouble - just sprinkle the enzymes on her food. She is a great girl, and some active family is going to be VERY lucky to have her as their companion. Don’t hesitate to consider this truly wonderful & fun girl. Want more incentive? Check out this video of her playing ball:
As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet & greets with an approved application! Here is the link:
