My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MARLEY is a 3 1/2 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 88 pounds. He is a very handsome, sweet guy. He is a very affectionate, loving guy and has a killer lab lean. He fast became a favorite at the vet as everyone there loves him! He is settling in at his foster and the initial report is that he is a big ol love bug!! Marley had to have TPLO surgery for a torn ACL in March and has recovered nicely. He is good on a leash, good in the car, and takes treats very, very gently. He is keeping his run clean at the vet and is respectful of bedding. He is gentle and loving. We have not had him around other dogs yet due to his surgery but we were told he previously lived with two dogs.
He needs to go to experienced adopters who know how to work with a strong boy and take him to obedience training. Marley had his leg rechecked and everything looks good. He lived with children and is approved for kids ages 8+.

Update (5/15): Marley is as sweet as ever. He is still very cuddly and a big lover. He is a calm and gentle boy with moments of lab play. He wants to play with the resident cats, but he listens when he is told "leave it" or "no." He sleeps in his fosters' bedroom on a dog bed and is quiet all night long. Marley has a sweet, loving and gentle personality and his fosters believe that he may have the potential to become a therapy dog. Marley would do best with a family who would enjoy bonding with him through training their new best friend!
