My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome HANK is a 9 to 10 month old dreamboat! He is extremely sweet, but a little shy at first. He is WONDERFUL with other dogs. Since HANK thrives with other pups, we want him to go to a forever home where he has a fur sibling. HANK is gentle yet curious. He loves to follow his foster mom everywhere. He sleeps on a dog bed next to her bed at night. He picked up on potty training almost immediately and has yet to have an accident in his foster home. He is quiet in his crate as long as he doesn't see or hear others moving around the house. He is a calm passenger in the car and is getting better on leash every day (at first he was frightened of the leash). HANK picks up on things quickly and has a strong desire to please. This fluffy boy will give his forever family a lifetime of joy.

HANK is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
His $450 adoption fee includes health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
