Kanani is a lovely, shy 4 year old girl looking for a quiet, experienced, adult-only forever home. Kanani will need to be signed up for positive reward based obedience classes before her adoption can be finalized. This will help Kanani bond with her new family as well as help her build her confidence. She is pretty shy at first but she will warm up to you if you remain quiet, keep your movements slow, and let her come to you. Kanani will need to live in a home without any children, that includes a home where children are over often. She is just far too timid for children and they would easily overwhelm her. Kanani would do well in a home with a mellow male dog who will keep her company and not try to play too roughly. A very confident cat that will teach her not to chase after kitties would also likely be okay with Kanani. If you see the beautiful soul in this sweet girl and have the patience and resources to help her out of her shell, please fill out an adoption application at the front desk and you can take Kanani on a walk!
