Roo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Roo's Story...
Roo came to us from SJACS, he was stray who was picked up at an auto parts store in San Jose. He is 18 months old and weighs under 10lbs. Had we not rescued him, Roo's story would be different, as he was on rescue only list, not available to the public viewing.

Roo has been in a foster home now for five months now, he is a wonderful little dog. Very happy, housebroken, good with other dogs, walks well on a leash. A far cry from the shy withdrawn little puppy we first took in. His foster Mum has done a great job with his transformation. All Roo needs is a forever home, if you are looking for a loving young puppy please consider Roo.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roo, a Hollister Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Hollister, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Hollister.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hollister already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hollister breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hollister paves the way for another one to be saved.
