The First Day Of The Rest Of His Life! Charlie came into the North Central Animal shelter as an owner turn in because they were moving to a place that didn’t allow pets. The Rescue Train met him at a large mobile adoption event. These events are often stressful for shelter animals but he was a ROCK STAR! We took one look at his adorableness and couldn’t get him on The Rescue Train fast enough. Destination find him a loving home! Charlie is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met. He's 11 pounds of full of love and joy! His past owners kept him as a back yard dog so now that he’s inside a loving foster home everything is NEW to him. Even though he’s 3 years old he acts like a puppy because everything is so exciting. He loves to play and get lots of belly rubs! There is something funny and unique about him starting with his cute long nose. He even likes to look at himself in the mirror. He’s a poodle/wired haired terrier mix that is great with people, dogs and is learning to live with cats. He’s very social and would love a home were people are around more often than not. Like all dogs he would benefit from some obedience training to become a good canine citizen. He is focused and loves rewards and praise. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body but because he needs attention and training if he were to live with children we prefer they be over the age of 8. Charlie is neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and in good health. Charlie is ready to start his new life as part of a furever family. The only thing he needs for his happy tale is YOU!
