Eyes are the window to the soul! Lizzie's eyes express her beautiful soul and unique spirit. The Rescue Train is helping Lizzie's owner who has lost his housing and no longer feels like he can provide a home where she'll be happy and get the attention she needs. This playful five month old puppy was originally rescued from the Burbank Animal Shelter. Her eye color leads us to believe she has some Aussie Shepherd along with boxer/lab/pit bull. She a social outgoing dog that's started to learn some basic obedience commands and is learning to walk on her leash. After spending just a few moments with her you can tell she's eager to please and belong. She does well with other dogs and seems to be good with cats. Because she is playful and rambunctious at this young age she would do best with a dog her size and some structure. Still very much a puppy she do best with a person or family that's home more often that not and has a yard to play in. Lizzie is currently 33 pounds and we predict she'll grow to about to about 50-55 pounds. She is spayed, vaccinated and micro chipped. She is making progress with her house breaking.
