Jessie's Story...
Absolutely wonderful dog! right out of prison obedience training program Her story--people that had her allowed her to be bred her first heat- so had pups at about 6 months-- Then they moved and took the pups and left her behind----THAT is not going to happen again-- she is now spayed and current on shots- HW meds- etc.... Do not think she will get much larger-- pretty much full grown at a year-- She is just wonderful- calm- easy going and needs a chance to show that--AS our website is down right now-- for info on her-- please contact me-- at my home email-- Mattsruby @ aol.com or 252-813-1649

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie, a Scotland Neck Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Scotland Neck, or seeking a Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Scotland Neck.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scotland Neck already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scotland Neck breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scotland Neck paves the way for another one to be saved.
