Gabby's Story...
Meet Gabby, a 12 week old Lab/Hound mix who currently weighs 11 pounds and gaining every day! True to the hound breed, Gabby likes to explore her surroundings with her nose to the ground and often tracks to exciting places in the home and yard. She can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly and enjoys gentle pets and hugs. Gabby will return your affection with sweet puppy
kisses. She is working very hard with crate training, housebreaking and leash walking. Gabby is current with vaccinations and fostered in Lewisberry, PA with other dogs and a cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby, a New Oxford Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in New Oxford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in New Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
