Cassie's Story...
Name: Cassie
(DOB 12/20/14)
Available: est. May 9, 2015

Meet Cassie, a 22 pound, 4 month old female Border Collie/Shepherd mix. Cassie and her siblings were part of an unwanted litter of pups in need of new homes. She and her siblings are spending time with their foster family until ready for adoption.

Cassie is a sweet lovable girl who can hold her own with her brothers. She's very smart and is quick to learn new things. She loves playing with her siblings and spending cuddle time with her foster family.

Cassie is looking for a home with a large fenced yard with plenty of room to run and play. She would love a family willing to spend time playing with her and giving her plenty of love.

Cassie is spayed, received all age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and on flea and heartworm prevention.

Her adoption fee is only $95.
Donations allows us to keep our adoption fees low and help more animals in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cassie, a Weatherford Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Weatherford, or seeking a Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Weatherford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weatherford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weatherford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weatherford paves the way for another one to be saved.
