My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Roscoe. Roscoe was abandoned out in the country just north of Lafayette, along with 4 other little dogs. A very nice woman who lives on the property where the dogs were dumped contacted us for help. We have placed all of the other dogs; Roscoe is the last one who needs a home. Rosoe is young, less than a year old. He is happy and playful. He loves to play with other dogs and with people, including kids. (His manners around cats are a little lacking. He barks at them.) Roscoe is only about knee high (his photos tend to make him look bigger than he is) and he is not expected to get much bigger. We are not really sure what breed he is. A mini-Lab? He has had all his vaccinations and is neutered. Unfortunately, he has heartworms. We are looking for someone who would like to foster Roscoe, while he goes through heartworm treatment. (Of course, they could adopt him too!) He cannot stay where he is much longer. The very nice lady who has been caring for him has medical issues, and Roscoe really needs somewhere else to live. Please contact us if you are interested in fostering (or adopting) Rosoce.
