GABE - BLIND's Story...
Looking for a great companion dog that is as sweet as all get out? Here he is, Gabe is a Blue Heeler, approx. 4 years old and blind. Let me tell you, that does not stop him from living life to the fullest. He loves to go on walks, hang out in the house or yard soaking up the sunshine. Blind dogs adjust very well and yes, they can do stairs (FAQ).

Gabe requires a fenced yard. If you are interested in him, please go to our website adoptions page and fill out an application located at the top of the page. There you can also read about our adoption process and policies. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GABE - BLIND, a Post Falls Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in Post Falls, or seeking a Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Post Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Post Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Post Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Post Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
