My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scout is what some call a "pocket pittie" He is built like a Staffordshire Bull Terrier but his face and ears have the look of a Boston Terrier. Of course we are only guessing! He is not very tall but he is very solid and strong. He is equally happy lounging around the house or racing around the back yard, as long as he is with his family.

Scout does fine with another dog in the household, as long as things start with a slow, steady, controlled introduction. He is playful and would do best with another relaxed, energetic dog who doesn't mind rambunctious play and will not get angry at Rowdy if he plays a little bossy.

This darling boy loves people of all sizes and is great with kids. He should not be in a home with cats or any small fuzzy creatures as he has a strong prey drive. He can be protective of his home and family when he sees other dogs passing on the street so needs to be kept well-controlled.

Scout is neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. He is ready for a real home of his own where he will be treated like a treasured member of the family.

Adoption fees range from $150-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us.

We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
