Dodger's Story...
Please visit our main website at for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.

These stunning brothers lived a happy life with a family with kids. The kids would lay on the boys and the boys loved the attention. Unfortunately their house was sold and a no dog policy was being enforced. Their family had to move away and could not take the active young Boxers with them. With two small kids at home Dodger and Nixon spent a lot of time outside playing with each other. There was not much time to walk them or socialize them with the outside world and other dogs. It’s never too late and they just need a good leader to guide them in a positive way. They are both crate trained and love each others company. We support brotherly love and would like to see Dodger and Nixon adopted together forever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dodger, a Encino Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
