Romy is a cat who's grateful to have been given a second chance. He's happy that we took him into our care because he was ill-at-ease living outdoors and kept asking to be let in. A real charmer, he won the woman who had been feeding him over: she ended up deciding to foster him. Even though Romy is being kept isolated in a small space, he never complains. Whenever he has visitors, he comes right over to rub up against their legs. How could you not give into his charms? He likes to look out the window and isn't the vacuum cleaner; in fact, he enjoys being brushed by it! Romy is placid and submissive and would make a perfect companion for another FIV+ cat.

We are a non-profit organization founded in 1999 and run by a network of volunteers. Our mission is to rescue abandoned cats, to promote ahd importance of sterilization and to raise public awareness of the problems of abandoned animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption days every other Sunday at the Marcel-Giroux community center at 4501 Bannantyne Street in Verdun from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The next adoption days are:

July 8, 2012 July 22, 2012
August 5 & 19, 2012
September 9 & 23, 2012
October 14 & 28, 2012
November 11 & 25, 2012
December 9 & 16, 2012

Our Adoption Process...

All our cats are in foster homes and people who wish to adopt one can make an appointment to visit the cat at the home or come to the adoption days. All cats have been seen by a veterinarian, vaccinated and sterilized. The fee is $160 and includes sterilization of kittens when they reach five to six months of age. Adopting families sign a contract and if they already have other cats, these cats must be sterilized.
