Gunner's Story...
Gunner is possibly a beagle / Brittany Spaniel mix. He is very happy when he is around people and he wags his tail nonstop. He will gladly jump in your lap to say hello but he’s just a little bit big at 26lbs. With a little encouragement, Gunner will play fetch and he likes to play with toys. Gunner is sort of grouchy when he meets a new dog but he seems to settle down. He is a year old (2/23/14) and full grown at 26 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his shots. Gunner would like to be a part of a family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunner, a McCormick Beagle/Brittany dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Brittany for sale in McCormick, or seeking a Beagle/Brittany dog from a breeder in McCormick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McCormick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McCormick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Brittany breeders who help with Beagle/Brittany rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McCormick paves the way for another one to be saved.
