My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mercury was surrendered to us starving and very under-weight. She had just had a litter of pups but none survived. She is bright, active and sweet. She has a beautiful smile and is very curious. Mercury gets along well with other dogs, loves people and is house broken. Her favorite activity is long walks.

Adoption Information:
EARS is committed to placing all our dogs in quality forever homes. All dogs are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated and up-to-date on all shots and preventive flea and heartworm meds. We require an adoption application/contract and a home visit before we will release an animal. You must come to EARS in person to adopt an animal, please call 941-681-3877 to make a meet and greet appointment. The adoption fee for most healthy puppies and dogs under 7 $350.00. You can find out more about us at: www.EARSAnimalRescue.com.
All dogs are examined by our vet when rescued, they are brought up to date on vaccinations and all preventive medications such as Heartworm and flea meds. All medical issues are dealt with and dogs are micro-chipped. Animals are spayed or neutered, (in the case of a puppy we will arrange for this when they reach the correct age). All our dogs are fostered out to our wonderful volunteers.
Our animal adoption fees and donations are our sole source of support. We are a no-kill, no cage sanctuary and support many animals that will never be adopted due to health, age or behavioral issues. When you adopt an animal from EARS you are not just saving your new pet's life, you are saving the life of the next dog we can place in a foster home as well.
You can find more our website EARSAnimalRescue.com
Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop for your next companion.

Cheers From EARS!
