Dhino's Story...
Check this HANDSOME boy out!! Dhino is an awesome 6 year old Basset Hound who is looking for his new leash on life. This charming boy was dropped off with us because his previous owner didn't have an adequate lifestyle for him and his sister. Dhino is a fairly mellow boy with a go-with-the-flow personality. He loves relaxing on his big dog bed and occasionally playing with squeaky toys. He enjoys going outside on nice days and would love to join you on regular walks around the neighborhood or trips to the local dog park. He is a hound dog, and has a pretty loud bay (similar to a bark or howl). Dhino is very smart and eager to please. He is house-trained (however he might need a few reminders in his new home) and is food motivated, so teaching him new tricks or commands should be fun and easy. Dhino is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, & is microchipped. Come visit with this friendly boy today! We are open from 12-6 daily!
***Join us 5-16 for a special $5.00 adoption event! All adoption fees will only be $5.00!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dhino, a Benbrook Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
