XILOH's Story...
Hi, my name is Xiloh and I am about 10-12 weeks old. I am a sweet, smart, kissing bandit, little female Shepherd mix. I was found along with my four siblings in a kennel left on the side of a Highway road. Luckily someone drove by and was interested in using the kennel since it had apparently been discarded. To his surprise he found me and my brothers and sisters. He then contacted rescue and Delaney's Dog went out to pick us up! 3 of us were in pretty bad shape so we all went straight to the hospital where we spent a whole two weeks there! Three of us got to come home to our foster family a week before my brother Xochi and I were released. We stayed 2 weeks to get better and we are sure glad we did because we feel sooooo much better now! We are so thankful someone found us. We were scared no one would notice us ion the side of the road in the desert heat :(

My rescuers say that we are such great puppies. We are so smart! We know how to potty on the pee pee pads and we learn things very quickly (must be the Shepherd in us :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

XILOH, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
