Rex's Story...
FOSTERED IN MISSISSIPPI We are 7 weeks old in our pictures. Our mama was a mixed breed medium size dog who was thrown out on a country road to have her babies. We were saved by some good people and brought to BTHAR. Our mama does not trust people but we hope she will let them help her so that she does not have any more babies. We are looking for a home of our own now. The adoption fee is $450.00 and includes the transport fees, at least 2 sets of puppy vaccines, spayed/neutered, de wormed, Micro Chip and on flea and heart worm prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a Allentown German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Allentown, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
