Kiva's Story...
Name: Kiva
Breed: Pit Bull/Lab mix
Age: Adult
Gender: Female

Kiva is an adult female Pit Bull/Lab and she is the most gentle, laid back, mellow, marshmallow of a dog. Happiest curled up with you getting belly rubs and pets, she is this very quiet and good natured dog who is so easy you could forget she was even there, until you hear her ' thump thump thump' of the tail when she sees you walk into the room. Kiva is great with cats, kids and other dogs, although prefers if she lives with a dog that's another mellow one. She tends to steer away from anything too hyper and bouncy in regards to her dog friends. Kiva is house trained, crate trained, and polite. She walks nicely on the leash. She's so sweet that the love just radiates off of her to anyone nearby.

Requirements: Own your own home due to breed mix

You can email kladams4545@gmail.com with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiva, a Minneapolis Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
