Hi! My name is Lyla! I know that I'm part Lab and Golden but I'm not sure of the rest. Whatever my mix is, I'm sweet as sugar! I'm 11 months old and weigh 50 pounds. Well. I'm 11 months now but my Birthday is next Thursday!!! Guess what I want for my Birthday? I want to be part of your family!
I didn't have the best start in life. My owner was trying to get rid of me and my brother Koda on something called facebook. When that didn't work they called a big truck to come and take us to a shelter. Me and Koda were born there along with 3 other siblings. The other 3 all went away when they were young but me and Koda never left. I guess that made them angry since we were just a bother to them. We were not treated well and I was kicked in the face once. It did hurt but I'm all better now- although I do snort like a pig when I'm eating since I don't breath so well out of one nostril. It doesn't affect my life and I can run and play with the best of them. I have forgiven them because dogs don't hold a grudge.
Now the good stuff! I'm a happy, sweet, playful girl. I absolutely love all people and other dogs. I'm always in a good mood and never ornery. I'm extremely submissive and will show my belly to anyone. If someone raises their voice to me, I will hit the floor and crawl to them. I guess that comes from the tough "training" in my former home. I don't want to be hurt anymore so I am careful to be extremely obedient. I don't potty inside and love walks. I'm also an excellent passenger when I get to go for a ride. I jump right in and settle down like a lady should.
