Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abner is truly a survivor. A very sweet boy, Abner spent most of his kitten life in the outdoors. Not unusual? Abner got through his ordeals with only one eye. He was rescued by a caring family at just about a year old. Numerous vet visits later, it was determined that he had an underdeveloped eye. Cats are amazing creatures and adapt to disabilities quite remarkably. Abner has become an affectionate little boy who enjoys the company of humans and loves to play. He deserves a very special home with someone who can overlook his slight imperfection because he surely does not know he has one. He is a perfect companion.
Abner is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting this pet, you can start the process and access our pre-adoption application which is located on our website at www.startpets.net, click on "Pet Adoptions" complete the form, and send. We can also be reached at 973-785-1245 or email us at adopt@startpets.net. Please remember—out of state adoptions require additional time for approval; you must be 21 years or older to adopt; an application does not guarantee an adoption; not all animals on our website come to all adoption days.
