JB (In Foster)'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

JB (In Foster)'s Story...
JB is a 3-5 year old Beagle that came to us as a stray. He is a sweet boy who loves his people. He enjoys playing ball, going for walks, and following his Beagle nose! JB can be dominant with other male dogs and would prefer a home as the only dog or with a female doggy friend(s). He is housebroken and has basic training. JB has a mild thyroid condition, so he does require a pill twice per day. But the medication is very inexpensive and it is not a serious health problem. JB is a very affectionate boy and would make a great companion. Please give JB a loving home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JB (In Foster), a Freeport Beagle/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Basset Hound for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Beagle/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Basset Hound breeders who help with Beagle/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
