My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lyca was adopted by a young couple that could no longer keep her. She has spent the last 9 months in a home and now is back in rescue. Lyca is smart, funny, good with most dogs, is cat tested and would make a great family dog. She can a bit possessive of her owner with other dogs but currently shares time with two smaller handicapped dogs and plays very well.!She likes to hike, take walks, play with the ball and just hang out. She is being returned through no fault of her own. We would love to see her go to a new family instead of being back in rescue. It is never a good situation to be moved back to rescue and have to share everything. If you are a person who could devote some time to a dog, consider Lyca. She will not disappoint. I can have the owner contact you if interested - she is in Maryland. Please email the adoption coordinator, Dawn for an application or to have your questions answered. Blackdogsrescue@icloud.com
Her re-homing fee is $150. A portion of her original fee was sponsored thru the Petfinder Foundation via the Purina ONE Adoption Grant in order to help Lyca find a loving family.
Thank you for considering Lyca and a rescue dog.
