My story

Update 5/20/2015:

Petunia loves her crate and she hasn’t had any potty issues. She is building trust with her handlers, and starting to show signs of playfulness with people. She loves squeaky toys and playing tug. In general she is still shy, but when greeted with low energy and calm touch she appears to enjoy the attention. She is learning to walk on a leash (she much prefers to roll on the grass right now!) and has started learning basic obedience cues like sit and down. She is scared of loud noises (such as trucks, gunshots, etc.). She is happy to play (on-leash) with Ryder and confident enough to clearly tell him when she’s had enough – she’s definitely the boss of the pair!

This darling little sausage is about 20 lbs. and 2 years old. She really seems to like other dogs, and began a mad love affair with Ryder at first sight.

Petunia loves belly rubs, and is a gentle girl. (No body handling issues, and no resource guarding.) She rides quietly in the car. We're looking forward to getting to know her better! Please check back for updates.
