Tina is a German Shepard/ Australian Cattle Dog/Husky mix, about 4 years old and 50 pounds. Let her tell you about herself:

My name is Tina and I’m sort of a challenge. I’m not going to lie.
My ideal family would be one that doesn't have a lot of traffic in and out. You can have people over – I just need to go into my wonderful kennel or go lounge on your bed.

I came into the rescue May 2015 very pregnant and very malnourished. My foster mom said I was the best momma dog ever. And I was. But I am also a nervous nelly. My life sucked to be honest. I had lots of pregnancies and lots of babies. And some didn’t live. And I wasn’t treated well by humans.

But since being in foster care, I am learning how to be a dog. I am learning to enjoy people and see that they are good. I have human friends which is awesome.

I like dogs after I meet them on a walk. And one of my best friends is a cat.

So I guess I am wondering if somebody wants to take a chance on a not perfect dog to keep working with since my foster mom would love to be able to find me a home for me, so she can help another dog in need. She keeps telling me that I will find my forever home – and I believe her.

BTW, I am going to training classes which I’ll admit are helping. And the classes are free for whoever adopts me – good deal!!

Just so you know I am antisocial with new people, but once I get to know you, I am stuck to you for the rest of your life. My foster mom even says I am the best foster she has ever had – kennel trained, house trained, and I know tons of tricks – sit, wait, stay, place, down, crawl, roll over, shake, high five.

Good news, on 9/21/2016 I passed the Canine Good Citizen Training. Phew - it was hard but I did it!!!
