Maggie's Story...
Meet Maggie! This super pretty girl is a volunteer favorite at CRCS. Maggie is a social gal with a huge smile and a heart of gold. She loves to get out for walks or hikes and enjoy the day being with her person. She is well-mannered, friendly, easy-going, easy to walk on leash and oh-so-ready to find a person of her own. Maggie would love to go to an active home that will make her part of the family. She is in her prime and has enough energy to do your daily activities with you but not so much that you have to keep her busy 24/7. Maggie knows some basic commands and "will work for treats" - She's a very smart girl and loves to learn! Maggie likes to play fetch with her toys and if you're looking for a different activity ... such as lizard chasing... Maggie is your girl! We are looking for an adult home for Maggie. Maggie prefers a home with no kitties.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Washoe Valley Catahoula Leopard Dog/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Rottweiler for sale in Washoe Valley, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Washoe Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washoe Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washoe Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Rottweiler breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washoe Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
