My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful Mia is as smart as she is affectionate, six years old but still such a dynamic, energetic dog and adorable little girl! Mia Bella is energetic and lively, has a low maintenance coat and would love a daily run or walk. She's a super mix of lab, cattle dog and maybe some bully girl too? She gets along good with other dogs, has no problem with kitties and is calm and quiet in the house. Mia is amazing pretty, very well behaved and has great doggie manners. She is on the small side too, She is a small, weighing just under 45lbs. She is good with kids, preferring them older so they can play with her. Mia is totally house trained and enjoys hanging out with her people. Mia was rescued from an unstable and abusive home by her grandparents whose son has some serious addiction issues. They realized it was not a safe environment for their two grand dogs so they removed them and contacted the RAIN girls. Now Mia is looking for a terrific new home where she will be loved and enjoyed. She is currently in foster care in Bellevue. Mia loves the outdoors and has a passion for chasing balls. She loves her activities for energy outlet but also loves her naps in the sun! Mia is affectionate and friendly towards everyone and is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. She needs loving adopters who will give her the time and attention she deserves! Mia mostly wants to be right with you! She would love a home where one person was with her during the day as her favorite thing is to be with you. Mia loves to fetch, enjoys the water and is small and sleek. This cool and curious beauty is a great mix of sturdy outdoorsy lab or cattle dog and perhaps some good natured and family oriented Staffordshire terrier. Mia knows her basic commands. She is quiet and calm in the house, but does whine a bit when first left in her crate. Mia loves other dogs and would be super happy about a fenced back yard and doggie siblings! Mia will be ready for any adventure. She doesn't like being left behind, but is getting used to it in foster care! Her leash skills are good and she listens well to you and is a pleaser. She loves all her doggie playmates at her foster home but is easy going and friendly around all people and other dogs. She'd love for you to meet her and she is ready to get on with her real forever home. Her adoption fee is $400 and includes one training session to get you all on the right track. You can apply for this beauty online at www.raincityrescue.com (choose adopt tab). Questions, email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com. You will totally love this little cutie mix of family friendliness, canine companionship and homey happiness!
