STATUS: Jax has found his forever home with Stuart Roseman and his son Yehuda -- both of Morrisville. PERSONALITY TRAITS: friendly, playful ~DOB: August 2013 WEIGHT: 12 pounds HEALTH STATUS: Jax is UTD on all vaccinations -- including rabies -- and on monthly heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. SPAYED OR NEUTERED: Neutered MICRO CHIPPED: Yes AROUND DOGS: Great. He’s very playful and considers all dogs his playmate. AROUND CATS: untested AROUND CHILDREN: Untested, but should be fine with children who know how to treat a small dog with care and respect. HOUSEBROKEN: Work in progress CRATETRAINED: Yes LEASH MANNERS: Learned to walk on the leash very quickly. Still needs some refinement. CAR RIDES: He loves them. Jax quietly lays in his crate in the back of the car. Usually, he naps while the car is in motion. FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Jax is a typical curious puppy. He’s interested in everyone and everything. His foster home has 4 medium sized older dogs. He is very smart and has caught on very quickly with his leash walking and playing fetch (however, he hasn’t yet gotten the knack of returning the ball.) He loves to run and play all day. The crate training was a quick process. Jax has been sleeping in the crate in his foster mom’s room. He goes into the crate and takes about 5 minutes to settle down but he sleeps until the next morning. Jax would be a welcome addition to any active family. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Jax and 2 other young dogs were taken from the Montgomery Shelter. These dog were all owner surrenders The Animal Control Officer was not able to provide any additional information about these dogs. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jax--ADOPTED, a Cary Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Cary, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Cary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cary paves the way for another one to be saved.
