FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Lacey is a very gentle and friendly puppy. She is playful but her favorite thing to do is snuggle up in our arms. She is truly adorable and it's easy to spend time with her curled up on your lap!! Lacey is her momma's 'mini-me' with almost identical coloring to Luna and a similar loving personality. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Lacey is one of Luna's 9 puppies. BFPA pulled the pregnant Luna from a rural shelter. The animal control officer said her owner surrendered her when he discovered she was pregnant. They were not able to allow her to have puppies at the shelter, so that put Luna at high risk to be PTS. This adorable family was saved and are all thriving. The puppies will be ready to leave their momma, and start their exciting new lives after their first vaccination in the middle of June 2014 Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey--ADOPTED, a Cary Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Cary, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Cary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cary paves the way for another one to be saved.
