STERILIZED: Spayed MICROCHIPPED: Yes DOGS: Her foster family has three large dogs - she loves them and was quick to integrate herself into the pack. CATS: Her foster family has five cats and Bella does well with them. CHILDREN: Bella would love being part of a family with children. HOUSEBROKEN: Yes CRATETRAINED: Yes - Bella likes her crate. LEASH MANNERS: Very good. CAR RIDES: She likes getting in and usually will lie down and go to sleep for the ride. FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Bella is a lovely dog and very friendly. She gets along really well with everyone. She would love to be the center of attention with her new family. Bella enjoys playing with other dogs, but those dogs need to be her size or larger. Because she was found a stray, we don't know what Bella's has been through in the past, but we are sure that once she gains confidence and trust in her new home, she will thrive. An experienced dog owner/practitioner of calm, assertive pack leadership is preferred. This beautiful dog is waiting for someone to welcome them into their world. Could it be you? EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Bella was found walking down the road in rural Harnett County. She was scared and skinny but hopped into a kind samaritan's truck, curled up and went to sleep. A search was done for her owners, but no one could be found. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella--ADOPTED, a Cary Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cary, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cary paves the way for another one to be saved.
