My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shug was brought to a shelter as a stray. He had been hit by a car. This poor little guy was still wearing the long chain he had been tied outside with. Luckily, Shug only suffered a little road rash from the incident. But it was obvious this little man had not been given the life he deserves. Shug was dirty and there was evidence of some old injuries. We had the vet take an x-ray and it showed, at some point in his life, Shug had fractured his tibia (one of two bones in the lower leg). The vet said this type of injury causes restricted movement of the knee joint so Shug isn't able to bend his knee normally. It may also cause some arthritis later in life. But this old injury doesn't seem to bother Shug and it certainly doesn't slow him down one bit. Shug was treated with antibiotics and pain medicine for his road rash and is now ready to find a better life. Even with all he's been through, Shug is a happy little guy that loves belly rubs. He is also good with other dogs. Shug is a 6 year old Boston Terrier mix and weighs 25 pounds. Please help this precious boy find the loving home he deserves.
