Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a black velvet female chinchilla that is looking for her new home. She came to the rescue not long ago, and was born around 2/1/2015. This makes her right around 3.5 months old.
This female is black velvet, which is a standard with the TOV (touch of violet) gene. She is dark black on top and has a crisp white belly.
This female is SUPER sweet. When you get her out of her cage and pet her, she literally pancakes out and enjoys the petting. Very good with being handled and petted and definitely enjoys the attention! Doesn’t bite. Super sweet, super nice female.
We don’t know if she gets along with other chinchillas, but if you’re wanting a companion for your chin, we can definitely try them together and find out.
This chinchilla would make a good “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had chinchillas before.
This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (2 pounds of Tradition pellets), a goodie bags of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. She will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet, fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire, and provide proof of cage. If you are unwilling to do these things, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.

Normally, this black velvet female would be $200 to adopt. However, due to our May Madness sale, she is now $150 to adopt!
