My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome fellow is Miracle Max. He is a 60 Lb. German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who is approximately 2.5 years old. Miracle Max was rescued from a Los Angeles shelter by our staff. When they saw how dirty he was the decision to bring him back to HQ was a simple one. Upon arrival at The Pet Rescue Center Miracle Max was shuttled directly into the tub where he endured a nearly two-hour bathing session. There was so much grease coating his fur he had to be washed 5 times! He was a real trooper though, and was not only very patient but rewarded his bather with kisses for her hard work. Beneath all the dirt and grime there was our handsome guy. Miracle Max is a big guy and still fairly young so he would do best in an active household where he will get plenty of exercise, guidance and love.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
